At- Home Fitness

In this new world of restrictions, masks, distancing and uncertainty, piled on top of everyday stressors, many find it difficult to find the time to go to a gym to work on their fitness. 
Rockingham CrossFit presents Rockingham At-Home Fitness, a program created to provide you with the tools, programming, and opportunity to work on your fitness goals from the safety and comfort of your home!

This program will provide 5 workouts or “WOD’s” every week.  Each workout will consist of a Video Overview, Warm-up, WOD, and Accessory and Stretching components. 

The WOD’s will have an “Equipment” and “Bodyweight” version.  For those using the Equipment version, we recommend a set of Dumbbells, Kettlebells, or both, and a jump rope.  Whether you have the equipment or not, either version will provide a challenging workout.  That doesn’t mean there is not some weight involved with the Bodyweight version.  We will use backpacks/bags/objects etc. found around the house to give you that weighted stimulus.



 Movement & Excercise

Studies have proven that the more we move, the better we feel. Your body was designed to move, bend, crawl, roll, jump, and lift in order to make life possible.
Many modern conveniences, working from home, and desk jobs can lead to a sedentary lifestyle that begins to diminish our body's ability to move and work as it is designed. This often leads to weight gain and other detrimental long-term effects such as depression, trouble sleeping, lack of focus, reduced energy levels, the inability to manage stress, decrease bone density, and muscle loss. Simply put, the more you move/ exercise with a consistent routine, the better you feel and the healthier you will become.
